Summer is officially here! So of course, this gives me every reason and impulse to tap into my list-making obsession and curate a bundle of things to check off before these breezy, green leaves change to orange and yellow.

Every summer I try to come up with a list of activities to do, not only to make sure the summer is killer, but also to keep on track and not let the whole summer slip away right before my eyes (which seems to happen every dang time!).

Feel free to read it and add some ideas of your own creation.
I’m also debating starting a YouTube channel as a continuation of Liv’s Life, so if you would be interested in further content through videos, let me know in the comment section below (or text me) and I’ll find some creative ways to keep you guys up-to-date, inspired, and entertained all year long.

Liv’s Tips: Summer Travel Hacks That Will Save Your Life

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Hey guys! I’m back and better than ever because break is right around the corner! *squeals* I’m super excited for this post, because it marks the first installment in my summer series! I know it’s only May, but Memorial Day is tomorrow, and to me, that marks the official beginning of summer! This summer, I’m pumped that I get to do so much traveling. But, traveling can sometimes be more stressful than it needs to be. So today, I’m bringing you the most useful traveling hacks to help make this summer the most epic yet! Read on to learn how you can slay the vacay!

Tip 1: Roll Your Clothes

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetYou have probably heard this before, but you guys NEED to roll your clothes. It totally saves room! If you need even more space, I would recommend using a space bag (those plastic bags that you vacuum the air out of). That way you don’t have to worry about cramming your entire wardrobe into your suitcase!

Tip 2: Put Washi Tape On Your Electronics

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetIf you’re traveling with family or friends, it’s more than likely that you’ll accidentally mistake your electronics for another person’s. By putting the same pattern washi tape on your electronics, it’s so much easier to identify your electronics from the rest. Not to mention, it looks super cute too!

Tip 3: Place Shoes In A Showercap

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetIf you don’t like putting your shoes on top of your clothes when you pack your suitcase, you can use a shower cap instead! Stick your shoes inside a shower cap before placing it on top of your clothes. Alternatively, you can use a plastic grocery bag or a Ziploc bag, anything you have on hand to prevent your clothes from getting dirty! Super easy and neat!

Tip 4: Put Underwear In Shoes To Save Space

Is it just me, or is there never enough room in my suitcase (I’m a notorious overpacker)? I like to roll up my socks and underwear and stick them inside of my shoes to save even more space. My shoes smell pretty good most of the time though, so if your shoes stink I would not recommend doing this (just kidding).

Tip 5: Store Money in Several Places

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetThis will save your butt if you ever get your wallet stolen. What I like to do is put money in a few different places, so that if one stash of cash gets stolen, you have other stashes hidden around.

If you want me to do more of these kinds of posts, let me know what you think!

Happy Summer!
